| NEW POST! Competition This is the time of conflict and challenge, pure and simple. No matter how you look at it, confrontation and discord are on the horizon. Others don't agree with you or see your perspective, and they don't intend to cooperate with you in any way. This could surface in such serious ways as legal battles, divorce proceedings, and contract negotiations; or it could even be an impasse with a friend over who gets the last candybar. Whatever the issue, there's no immediate or easy resolution. You've attracted a worthy opponent, so prepare to go the distance. This is not to assume, however, that such combative scenarios are always a bad thing. Competition brings out your best, unleashes your passion and commitment in what you believe in.
Whether you're going back to school after a long summer break, or you're dealing with a nasty coworker, this card really can tell a lot. Competition is a natural thing that our egos give us to survive. Sure, competition can get us into some horrible conflicts, but when you look at why you were involved in the conflict, you really get a true taste of yourself and your whole purpose. You and the other person(s) involved play a part, and it's up to you and that person to work it out. I feel like we're giving situations like this to learn how to get along with people different from our thinking. Especially people who's beliefs are strongly the opposite of ours. I used to get in a lot of fights with people when they would call what I believed in "weird" and "not true". Even though I attended a Catholic school, the belief of God and the Saints were only acceptable. Then one day a major realization came to me. These people have not yet had an experience yet with the other side, and it wasn't my duty to try and prove it to them. Before I had my experience, I wouldn't ever have given thought to the things I believe in now. Same with the people I was feuding with, I was literally draining myself trying to prove something to a group of people who had not yet experienced it yet. When I looked at the reason why I was in the conflict I realized that I was trying to defend myself and my beliefs. My Mother's advice is what sealed the deal. She told me that "So what if they don't believe. You know what you know, and that's what matters." Someday they might know, but they have to find out for themselves to truly believe. I believe that we all get involved with the other side when we are meant to. Sometimes people meet the spirits when we are teenagers and sometimes people meet them when they cross over. But there's no need to dislike or get in conflicts with the people who choose to keep their third eye closed. Some fear or disbelief in their life is keeping them from experiencing at the moment, and it's up to them to get rid of the fear and see the light. We can either choose to send love to them, praying that they will get over the fear, or we can choose to think negatively about them, letting our egos take charge. now it's your turn. What kind of conflicts do you find yourself in? Have you had problems in the past like I did with people? if so, please share. Have you found your passions and belief through competition? | New Life Whether you're a man or a woman, your feminine, earthy side is in full bloom. the wishes, dreams, and desires you've carried in your heart are now gestating in the Divine womb and are coming into fruition. Whatever you seek to create, it's happening. The song in your heart will find it's voice; the poetry will be expressed. Even your professional goals will find a home in which to grow. If you've been feeling sterile, stagnant, and too controlled, loosen things up and get your creative juices flowing. Surrender your mind and allow your soul to come alive. The message: "New life is on its way" When I first chose this card, I didn't really think that it was that appealing. But then I started to read it's story, and it was making so much sense. When I read the story of it, the main thing I got out of it was an imbalance of Yin and Yang. For people who aren't familiar with these terms, Yin and Yang are energies that sort out the chi in a personality or even a room (also known as feng shui). Yin is associated with femininity and Yang is associated with Masculinity but both men and women posses both qualities. When an imbalanced person has more yin then yang, they tend to be more quiet, calmed, and relaxed. When an imbalanced person has more Yang then Yin, they tend to be very active, extreme in their ways, and contain a lot of nervous energy. for example, here's a chart showing the opposite energy of the two. Yin Yang Smooth Rough Receptive Assertive Passive Active Cold Hot Black White Slow Fast Basically, the point I'm trying to make is that we all need to slow down and get in touch with our soul. How many times a day are we relying on a clock to schedule us, rather then relying on our inner needs? How many times a day do we stop what we're doing and listen to our soul? When we get intouch with our soul, everything in our life seems to fit together. Let's stop worrying and start living in the now! We need to balance this Yang with more Yin. How can we do this? Well here's a list of things you could do today as a nice treat for your soul :) A nice, long sea salt bubble bath A walk outdoors Read Draw, paint, get involved with the arts Listen to Music Simply just pray for balance
What do you feel that you're too uptight on? What do you think people in your life are too tense about? Do you have any advice on any more yin activities? Do you think that you're imbalance (too much yin or yang), do you have any advice to give on imblanced yin or yang?

| Shadow Although no one likes to admit it, we all have our dark sides and shadows- those less-than-flattering facets of our personality that take delight in abusing and shaming others and wielding power in the most unfair ways. Whether it's the condescending remark to the slow-moving grocery bagger at the supermarket, the aggressive hand gesture directed toward the meandering driver on the road, or the belittling comment made to your uncooperative child, many of us are guilty of hurting or deriding others at times. Your Divine Healers are present now to help you witness your shadow, lovingly making you aware that it's actually contempt for yourself and your vulnerability that fuels such hostility toward others. These gentle but powerful higher forces surround you in love and urge you to accept and embrace your weaker aspects, rather than harshly rejecting yourself by attacking those aspects in others. Ease up, and be more tolerant of yourself. If you do so, these shadows will give away to light and healing. your Divine Healers' message: "Ask for help and accept our light" I pulled out this card last night during a reading I was giving to someone, and I couldn't help but notice how much I related with it as well. After the reading I began to think how many times in my past that I have let my shadow take over me. A great example of my life would be this past school year. I have to say that this past school year wasn't too great, and I could've done a lot more to make it better. I started the year off with just a little bit of shadow, and I ended the year with the shadow almost completely covering me. I let my vulnerability take over me because I didn't want the people at school to hurt me again. I had so much hate for these people out of fear and jealousy, it took me the whole year to realize where it came from. Thanks to this card, I have completely let go of them and how they were still holding me down. Now it's your turn. What do you let your shadow do to people? Do you let it take over you? Tell your stories, ect. Please comment in!
